Practice when the baby practices
I've got some Joni in my head which feels appropriate as daffodil and allium bulbs are poking their noses out of the earth and our kids just keep on growing. Our duo's feet remain firmly planted in the season of occasional performance, but we think that makes each event even more special. Speaking of which, we are excited to announce a concert happening this summer as part of the Boston Public Library's Concerts in the Courtyard series. Boston-area folks, mark your calendars for Friday, July 7, 12:30-1:30 at the gorgeous McKim courtyard of the BPL's main branch.
For those of you farther afield, join me, Ari, for Fiddle Hell Online, April 13-16. FHO will have many live workshops (I'll be teaching two of them!), concerts (I'll be playing at one of them!) and jam sessions on Zoom. Check it out here.
And speaking of seasons going round and round, a poem of mine was recently published which tells the story of four generations on our mother's side. Read it here.
That's all for now. We've got some other concert plans in the works. Watch this space, or follow us on instagram to stay in the know.
In all things blooming,
Ari&Mia
